Based in Wollongong, NSW and servicing Southern Sydney, Shellharbour and the Shoalhaven. Eagle Eye Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) are the providers of all your aerial imaging needs. Eagle Eye RPAS utilise remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) as an effective system for the capture of imagery and spatial data for infrastructure projects and other purposes.
Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) also known as unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is an aircraft without a pilot. It may be known as a drone, an unmanned aircraft system (UAS), unmanned aircraft vehicle system (UAVS), and preferably, remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) or remotely piloted aircraft system (RPAS). These may be used for military, recreational or commercial purposes.
Eagle Eye RPAS utilise aircraft that may have one or more sensors for mapping, investigation or public display activities. The sensors may include inertial management unit (IMU), Global Positioning System (GPS), Global Navigation Network System (GNSS), gyroscope, accelerometer, compass, altimeter, still camera, video camera and Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) capturing a range of data. The aircraft may be controlled by our ground based pilot in real time or by a pre-programmed flight path with continual monitoring of the mission and flight data by one of our certified operators.
Eagle Eye Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems operate under a Civil Aviation Authority (CASA) Remote Operators Certificate (ReOC). Our pilots, who hold a CASA issued Aviation Reference Number, (ARN) are fully trained and certified by CASA, each holding a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and Aircraft Radio Operators Certificate (AROC).
